Please can parents in these rooms let me know if they can make any of the dates between 6.30 and 7.30 pm in order for me to confirm and allocate approx’ times.  Thanks ALLY

Tim will be leaving us on Thursday this week.  He is going back to a previous career of hairdressing.

We welcome this week Angela who is working with us part time as a level 3 qualified practitioner.

 

 

 

 

 

And we welcome Esther who is level 3 qualified, has plenty of experience and is ready to get get know individual child and families over time.  They are both settling in well with us already.

Staff will be available for you to meet this Thursday between 6 pm and 7 pm if parents would like to come and see them here for a chat.

The next meeting is planned for the evening of Thursday 18th January.  Please let the staff, myself or the room representatives know if you wish to share any information.  Thank you

Laura C joined us on Friday.  She will work in all areas but is planned to stay with the children in the Buttercup room.  Laura is with us full time and comes to us as a qualified teacher.  We hope she settles in quickly.

The staff here on Friday were pleased to receive their named uniform.

We are sad to be seeing Leila go at the end of the week.  She has been great for the short amount of time with us.  Leila has been offered her own pre-school to set up and run which is something I can’t offer her on her career path.  She has made many friends in our staff team and with the children.  Thanks Leila and good luck!

In the meantime we have had Amy start with us this week. She is qualifying for her Level 3 Qualification.  Amy already holds Level 2 and has plenty of nursery experience.   She seems to have settled in wonderfully and introductions happening with parents over time.   She will work across the nursery for the time being to get to know the team, the children and parents.  And will be support staff to our more qualified and experienced staff so expect to see her throughout the nursery at this time.

I have some more introductions coming for you, if not tomorrow, next week!  Watch this space.  We are awaiting the arrival of some new staff NAMED uniform (any day now) which will be useful for parents with identification of us all.
